Make a Difference. One Child at a Time.
Every donation helps provide comfort, dignity, and essential supplies to a child experiencing an unexpected transition.
At The Peanut Project, Inc., we believe that no child should enter foster care, kinship care, or another out-of-home placement without the basic necessities they deserve.
Whether you contribute supplies, provide financial support, or organize a community donation drive, your generosity helps us prepare emergency placement kits for children from birth through age 17 across Central Indiana.
Donate Essential Supplies
We gratefully accept new and gently used clothing, as well as new, unopened hygiene products and other age-appropriate necessities.
Our most-needed items include:
Diapers, wipes, and infant care products
Clothing, pajamas, underwear, and socks
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and deodorant
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and hair-care products
Backpacks, duffel bags, and diaper bags
Blankets, stuffed animals, books, and comfort items
School supplies and activities for older children
Make a Financial Contribution
Financial gifts allow us to purchase urgently needed items, replenish supplies, and prepare kits for children of all ages.
Every contribution, regardless of size, helps us respond to the needs of children and caregivers in our community.
Host a Donation Drive
Schools, churches, businesses, neighborhood groups, and community organizations can support The Peanut Project by collecting supplies or organizing donation drives.
We're happy to help coordinate a drive that meets our current inventory needs.
